- A collection assembled from the previous collection by University of tsukuba Professor Emeritus Mabuchi Kazuo (Japanese Linguistics). A collection of references related to phonological studies of Chinese characters, consisting of 171 books, such as various韻鏡/Inkyo (Yunjing or “Mirror of Rhymes”) books and Inkyo research books.
Received in March 2003.
[Location] Stored in the rare book archive and Japanese style book archive. - A collection of approximately 1,400 items documents and archived books of Uno Kozo, an economic theorist known throughout the world for the Uno Theory of Marxist economics. The collection includes valuable documents related to economics, as well as manuscripts, unpublished lecture notes, memos, and books with handwritten margin notes. It is invaluable material for understanding the thought process and circumstances of the development of the Uno Theory. Received in February 1997.
In October 2022, 34 items from Uno's former collection and his works were added to the collection, donated by Sakurai Tsuyoshi, Professor Emeritus of Musashi University.
[Location] Stored in the Central Library, Japanese style book archive room 2. Hand-written manuscripts are stored in the rare book archive. - Consists of 353 materials of compilations of statutes and leading cases, and research publications of the United Kingdom since the 15th century. This collection can be divided in two parts: the one is a compilation of enacted laws of England; and the other is Scottish statutes, leading cases, encyclopedias, and learned books. The legislation of England belongs to the Anglo-American law system, and the legislation of Scotland belongs to the Continental law system. This collection is valuable for individual studies on the legislation systems of England and Scotland, and also for their comparative study.
Received in fiscal year 1991.
[Location] General classification 322.33-C84, shelved in the general stacks. The 96 volumes from 1850 and before are rare books, and stored in the rare book archive. - Consists of 365 volumes of books published from 18th to 20th century. The main part of this collection is the materials around the 1870's, the period of the formation of the Third Republic (1870-1940). Includes various subjects, such as educational system, educational administration, classical writings in thoughts in pedagogy, and also reports of the situation of the elementary education in the 19th century, the minutes of conference of teachers, pamphlets of local statistics of education, etc.

[Location] General classification 372.35-C84. General books are shelved in the general stacks. 107 books, which are rare books published in and before 1850 are stored in the rare book archive - A collection of 486 items of related materials added to the former collection of Mexican President Porfirio Diaz (1830 - 1915), which was purchased as a large collection in 1982. Diaz was a dominant figure in Mexico for a period of 35 years, from 1877 to 1911, both as President and as a kingmaker. In 1911, however, he resigned as President after a revolution and went into exile in France. This collection consists of books and official documents that were left behind in the official residence when Diaz left, supplemented by additional documents as reference material.
