A collection of 315 items, including academic diaries from 1800 to 1862, the correspondence of the headmaster Hayashi Jussai and Confucian scholar Sato Issai, booklets and leaflets related to the school, and receipt ledgers for the school collection.

Documents from shrines and temples in Kyoto, such as Ichijoin, To-ji, Kiyomizu-dera Jojuin, Tada Shrine, and Gion Hojuin. Except for the items purchased after the war, at the same time as the documentation related to the Kitano Shrine, most of the materials have been acquired one-by-one.

A collection of 470 documents and records related to the Kitano Shrine of Kyoto. Most of the items are from the former collection of Shobaiin, formerly affiliated with the Kitano Shrine. There are many important historical materials regarding medieval culture and history, as well as socioeconomic history, such as shakenikki (diaries of the shrine operations) and rengakaishi (writing sheets of renga, a form of poetry).
